Dimensions

Additional layers of foam or natural fillings on top of the existing surface of the mattress.  Gives an extra feel of softness
and luxury.

Tufted describes a construction method used in some mattresses.  Towards the end of the manufacturing process, the entire mattress construction is squeezed together, while thin rods are inserted to permanently hold the mattress under tension.  (These are typically held in place by small thin pieces of white plastic, often visible on the outside of the mattress along with their characteristic 'dimples').

The result is that tufted mattresses are firmer.
